GWI Software Celebrates 15 Years in the Help Desk Software Industry

March 29, 2007 - Vancouver, WA - GWI Software, an industry-leading provider of comprehensive IT help desk software applications, is pleased to announce its 15th anniversary on April 1, 2007.

GWI Software has been under the same management and corporate vision, solely focused on the help desk software industry, since it was formed in 1992. In that time the company has grown its customer base to over 2,500 installations worldwide.

“Our model over the years has been consistent and simple; to develop a powerful help desk tool, provide it at an affordable cost, support it with top-notch support personnel, and include our customers in the direction the product evolves over time,” said GWI Software President Edith Cano. “We’re thankful to all the wonderful customers who have supported GWI Software and we look forward to many more years of delivering solutions that meet their service desk needs.”

“Lasting this long in a highly competitive space is no fluke,” said Cano. “We’ve seen many competitors come and go, merge, or sell their business outright over the years. In most cases there have been significant management changes as well as turbulent product shifts. Those kinds of drastic changes are rarely a good thing for the customers going along for the ride. Our clients have enjoyed a stable, customer-centric partner in GWI and they’ve rewarded us with their loyalty. We’re very fortunate to have customers that have been with us more than a decade now - you really learn something from managing long term relationships and growing along with your clients over that much time. The unique experience we’re able to offer new customers is a direct result of that.”
